「朽木盆（くつきぼん）」は、滋賀県高島市（旧朽木村）で江戸時代後期から明治時代にかけて作られた、黒漆地に弁柄（べんがら）漆で菊の文様などを描いた、素朴で味わい深い漆塗りの盆で、特に八寸（約24cm）のものが有名、江戸時代の参勤交代のお土産としても用いられ、現存するものは古民藝品として人気があります。
